What is Festfloor Microcement?
Festfloor Microcement is a water-based, cementitious overlay system that it is hand-applied at a thickness of 2-3mm, offering a versatile, aesthetic, and durable finish to almost any surface. This innovative material is perfect for clients looking for high-quality finishes that stand the test of time.
What Substrates Can It Be Applied On?
Festfloor Microcement is an extremely versatile solution.
Suitable substrates include:
- Concrete - Ideal for creating a sleek, modern finish
- Tiles- Perfect for renovating without the need to remove existing tiles
- Plaster- Enhances wall finishes with a durable overlay
- Cement board- Suitable for wet areas like bathrooms
- Plywood, Laminate and MDF- Ideal for updating joinery, kitchen cabinets, worktop and fixtures.

2. FESTfloor All in One Life 10 m2 - Complete System for Internal Floors and Walls
This all-in-one microcement kit includes primer, two base coats, two top coats with colour pigment, sealer primer, and a high-performance sealer with special 3K additive. Fibreglass mesh is also included.
Ideal for internal floors and walls, including overlaying existing tiles or other surfaces.
3. FESTfloor All in One Plus 10 m2 - Heavy-Duty System for Wet Areas and Outdoors
Our toughest microcement kit, designed for maximum durability. It includes primer, fibreglass mesh, two base coats, two top coats with colour pigment, and our heavy-duty Turbo Sealer – suitable for wet areas and outdoor use.
4. Hydrofest Wall Kit (5 m² / 10 m²) — For interior wet area walls.
Premixed and precoloured. Perfect for bathroom walls, splashbacks, and shower walls.
5. Hydrofest Floor Kit (5 m² / 10 m²) — For interior wet area floors and walls.
Premixed and precoloured. Suitable for floors, walls, and benchtops in wet areas like bathrooms and showers. Available in 5 m² and 10 m² sizes.

Two Microcement Systems — Which One Is Right for You?
We offer two microcement systems built for different jobs: FESTfloor Life, our original cement-based system, and Hydrofest, our premixed acrylic-based system.
FESTfloor Life
- Built from cement, aggregates, liquid polymers, and pigments, mixed on-site before application.
- Harder, more durable finish once fully cured — ideal for high-traffic or heavy-use areas, like general flooring throughout the house.
- Waterproofing achieved via sealer — the sealer is what makes it suitable for wet areas.
- Suitable outdoors as well as indoors.
- Best for: general flooring, benchtops, and outdoor areas.
Hydrofest
- Premixed and precoloured — no measuring or mixing powders, liquids, or pigments.
- Easier and faster application, especially for first-time users.
- Fully waterproof once dried, even before sealing.
- Best for: bathrooms, showers, and other wet areas — floor and wall.
